Modeling of Students’ Competence Formation Process with Consideration of Cross-Disciplinary Relationships
Abstract
Modern features of Russian education system imply the necessity of analysis and forecasting of students' training level. This is due to many reasons, for example, regulatory authorities evaluation of education process in universities and colleges with the level of students' competences. The main metrics of training results evaluation are graduates' competences governed by the Third Generation of State Education Standards (Russia). Authors present the linear model of education process; upgrade this model with consideration of cross-disciplinary relationships and their effect to the level of training. Potentials of the linear model of education process with cross-disciplinary relationships for modeling of students' competence formation process in accordance with new State Educational Standards are also considered. A way to integrate the proposed model into the information system of graduates' employment in Rubtsovsk Branch of Altai State University is shown at the end of this paper.Downloads
