Abstract
The formation of the Soviet education system was the result of the interaction between socioeconomic, political, and ideological processes as well as the revolutionary mood to create a socialist state. This allowed for the unification of different regions under one flag, more efficient use of resources and made the state more stable in international relations.
It is evident that the revolutionary events and subsequent formation of the USSR led to the need for reform across all spheres of life, including education. The country's top leadership understood that tremendous efforts were needed to change the people's worldview, directing them towards the acceptance of political objectives and the development of the state and society.
The promotion of communist ideas and Soviet ideology in education became a necessary and effective tool in shaping the mass consciousness of the new generation during this period. The state effectively used this tool to create a population that perceived the world through the pre-established framework.
