Abstract
The history of daily life in Russia before the revolution has received little attention in historical studies. This includes a lack of research on the daily routines of pre-revolutionary educational institutions. One important aspect of daily life was medicine. Educational institutions also had medical facilities, with doctors serving students in gymnasiums and progymnasiums. Additionally, morbidity, or the prevalence of disease, played a significant role in the daily lives of students. Therefore, it is crucial to investigate these aspects of daily life in pre-revolutionary Russia. It was found that medical examinations of students were conducted frequently. However, various diseases, including serious ones, were prevalent among pupils. Despite this, many indicators showed that the health of students was generally good. The health situation changed over time, and medical sick leaves were provided. Parents' committees also showed activity in the medical sphere.
