Features of the Interrogation of the Suspected and Accused Minors Who Committed the Offense of Complicity
Abstract
The article is dedicated to general tendencies of minors’ criminality in recent years. Minors have increasingly begun to commit crimes that were not characteristic for them in the recent past. More and more crimes are committed by young people from disadvantaged families, by criminal groups with minors’ participation. These crimes tend to be committed with extreme cruelty and cynicism. These and other circumstances require the development of new tactics to obtain truthful testimony. The author analyses some of the factors that should be taken into consideration while interrogation of the suspected and accused minors who committed the offense of complicity. In addition to the psychological characteristics of age-related interrogation, and procedural characteristics, the author considers such factors as the presence of the family relationship between the partners, partners gender characteristics, the presence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the offense, particularly the relationship with the victim and other factors that influence the tactics of this investigative action.DOI 10.14258/izvasu(2016)3-18
