The Value of Continuous Pedagogical Education in the Dissemination and Development of Innovations
Abstract
The paper considers the main trends of innovative processes in the sphere of continuous pedagogical education. The tendencies of the process of modernization in this system, such as the use of the competence approach, androgogical principles and modular structuring of educational programs are described. Special attention is drawn to modern tendencies of raising the level of teachers’ proficiency at the establishments of Additional Professional Education aimed at training teachers to use innovative educational technologies in their professional activity. Psycho-pedagogical approaches, the forms of organization, modern methods and educational technologies are analyzed. The paper concludes that the importance of innovative processes in all spheres of life of the international community is increasing and emphasis is made on the continuous pedagogical education for the development and advancing of innovations in our country and abroad, as the reforms being conducted in the country require the high level of professionalism, acquiring new knowledge and skills.
