Situational Technologies in Positive Pedagogy
Abstract
The article attempts to outline a new direction in theory and practice of education - positive pedagogy. The author reveals the nature and purpose of positive pedagogy - to cultivate positive personality with such specific features as a positive outlook, elaborated positive mentality and some experience in making life positive. Developing such personality traits determines the range of tasks in positive pedagogy. The article presents the rationale for constructing a system of technologies in positive pedagogy. The writer defines the concept of situational technologies in education and upbringing, discloses the capabilities and specificity of pedagogical techniques in treating the tasks of positive pedagogy. The author presents a systematic description of situational technologies that initially carry a positive potential when used in the pedagogical interaction. Characterizing each situational technology in positive pedagogy means defining the basic concept, the gist of technology and a list of methods and operations for its practical use, and specific use of technology in the context of positive pedagogy.
