History of the Pioneer Movement Origin in Altai (1920s)

Abstract
The article is devoted to the history of the pioneer organization in Altai in the 1920s. Based on the materials of the State Archive of the Altai Territory, the author investigated the process of formation pioneer teams in the Altai Guberniya and in the districts that arose on its territory in 1925, studied the role of party and Komsomol organization in the formation of the first pioneer teams. The article focuses on the importance of the subjective factor in the formation and development of a pioneer organization. The features of the structure of the pioneer movement in the early years of its existence are shown; in particular, the activities of pioneer outposts in schools are studied. The personnel and financial problems of the pioneer movement of the 1920s are noted. Attention is drawn to the contradictions available in historical sources regarding the time of the first pioneer teams in Barnaul, as well as quantitative data. It is concluded that by the end of the first Soviet decade, the children's movement had entered into the system of a paternalistic model of interaction between the state and society.
