Modern Approaches to the Study of the Legal Consciousness of Drivers of Motor Vehicles
Abstract
The article considers some points of view on the legal consciousness ofdrivers of vehicles. In studying the psychological aspects of risky driving, the complexity of all types of interaction, like traffic on the one hand, and the behavior of road users, on the other are emphasized.
The purpose of the initial training of drivers should consist in obtaining the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities that will enable them to drive the vehicle safely in conditions and requirements that are in line with road safety. The ability to master the skills of safe driving is only partially limited to the psychology of drivers and can be partially compensated by intensive training to acquire a driving experience. The extreme nature of the drivers' activity is emphasized by the widely discussed issues of the personal factor in ensuring road safety. The challenge is to acquire a driving practice in relatively safe conditions using the best practices.
The formation of a safe behavior model is especially necessary at the initial stage of the process, in order to change the attitude to safety in the critical majority of the population. At the same time, the main emphasis should be placed on the personal interest of drivers in solving the problem of road safety, the need for reasonable, responsible and disciplined behavior on the roads, the attention of road users to each other, showing positive facts of culture and driving skills.
The article analyzes modern ideas about the legal consciousness of drivers of vehicles. Particular attention is paid to the study of the subjective side of the driver.
