Numerical Calculation Algorithm for the Model of a Reservoir Bank Transformation
УДК 519.673
Abstract
The relevance of the study lies in the fact that the developed numerical algorithm and the complex of simulation of reservoir bank transformation processes will help to understand what period of time will be needed for the retreat of the bank line inland to reach a given distance. The object of research is the Kachugin model that describes the reservoir bank transformation processes. The method is based on large experimental material and is recognized as the most reliable. The authors propose a developed numerical algorithm to modify this method and obtain the predicted profile of the reservoir bank line for a given period. It should be noted that usage of the simulation complex developed by the authors does not require high costs for obtaining data and calculating forecasts while considering a fairly large number of parameters and factors affecting the processes.
The following tasks are solved in the study: the processes and models of the reservoir bank transformation processes are studied; an algorithmic modification of numerical calculations by the Kachugin method is proposed; a software package for simulation is developed; testing and verification of the developed software package is conducted.
