The Main Aspects of Modern Clusters Development in Regional Economy
Abstract
The overriding priority of the region’s development is to ensure the sustainable improvement of the quality of living, based on a balanced socio-economic system of innovative type, ensuring national security, dynamic economic development and implementation of the strategic interests of Russia in the world community. The major objective of economic research now is the study, description and development of administrative relations system, that is aimed at providing sustainable growth rate and improving the competitiveness of domestically produced goods and services. This objective may be satisfied with the creation and development of clusters, that are essentially inter-industry complexes and play the role of “growth areas” in regional and national economies, with clusters being able to overcome structural constraints, as well as existing in a number of business entities multi-branch production structure. This article discusses the stages of cluster formation at the regional level and modern organizational and economic mechanisms of their performance.
