Memorialization of N.M. Yadrintsev’s Image in Memoirs and Posthumous Narrative

Abstract
The article is devoted to the reconstruction of the image of the ideologist of Siberian regionalism -N.M. Yadrintsev in the texts of obituaries and memoirs. The purpose of this study is to identify and show the main directions of memorialization of the image of the famous Siberian. The source base is the corpus of obituary works and published memoirs about N.M. Yadrintsev. The cross-cultural approach in the historical research was used as a methodology. The tools allow us to take into account the formation of a person’s understanding of the culture of other people. Thus, the approach is convenient for identifying directions for popularizing the image of N.M. Yadrintsev, taking into account the author's view and individual perception. Discourse analysis was also used. The chosen method is aimed at identifying discourse-concepts through an organic combination of written and speech forms of the text and the features of its perception.
During the study, it was found that the marker in the representation of the personality of the famous Siberian was his personal traits, qualities and characteristics. Image of N.M. Yadrintsev was organically complemented by his professional successes and achievements.
Like-minded people revealed the personality of the educator as a selfless public figure, an expert on the existential issues of Siberia and a good-natured promoter of the local press and education.
