Проблемы лингвоархеологической и палеогенетической идентификации минойцев Новодворцового периода

Аннотация
В данной статье рассматриваются вопросы, связанные с историко-культурной идентификацией минойцев Новодворцового периода. На основе материалов археологических, палеогенетических, лингвоархеологических исследований был проведен анализ возможных связей этеокритян с другими народами. Было показано, что наиболее близкими к ним являются индоарии, а топонимические и антропонимические маркеры могут иметь этимологию, трактуемую на основе лексем санскрита. Также были установлены черты сходства некоторых традиций минойской и ведической культур. Тексты, выполненные линейным письмом А, можно интерпретировать на основе лексем санскрита. Предполагаемый эндоэтноним этеокритян - «вианиты» может иметь интерпретацию «величайшие» как слова, производного от царского титула, в значении главного, правящего народа Крита. Само же название острова может происходить от слов, близких к санскритским и означающим «венец», в связи с его орографией, или «сердце» как занимавшего центральное положение в Минойской талассократии.
